After studying English and Art History at Cambridge and Edinburgh, Laura went on to work in the visual arts, and has been inspired by the movement of disability futurities. Her fiction and criticism have been published most recently in Times Literary Supplement, Poetry Wales, Ache, The Skinny, Gutter, SICK, and many more. She took part in Edinburgh Art Festival’s 2023 Emerging Writers Programme, and is currently a poetry editor for The Selkie.
